Opening ceremony of the festival, which will include the theatrical performance Košice Martyrs.
The theme of freedom also raises the question of the history of faith in our country. On the day before the opening of the festival, Košice commemorates the 400thanniversary of the martyrdom of the Kosice martyrs, which is a good opportunity to incorporate their story into the theme of this year’s festival. The performance is presented as a walking theatre with direct financial support from the city of Kosice, in cooperation with the Office of the Archbishop and the Secondary Art School.
